Born in Porto, with over 18 years of experience in content editing, personal and team development, social impact, and investigation, with the last five years dedicated to ATES – Área Transversal de Economia Social at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada (ISPA) in Lisbon (2008), and a MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London (2025), where received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Student Performance in the Neuroimaging and Mental Health module. Has collaborated with diverse nonprofit organizations of different sizes and areas of activity, including Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Aga Khan Foundation Portugal, and Fundação “la Caixa”, conducting social impact assessments, designing training programs, and managing projects. Passionate about advances in neuroscience—particularly brain connectivity—with a strong commitment to contributing to research on psychiatric and brain disorders, actively pursues opportunities in research and advocacy, with the conviction that a profound understanding of the intricacies of the human brain can contribute to translate insights on brain health mechanisms into effective and compassionate practical strategies for prevention, treatment, and social inclusion.
