Sérgio Pequito wins José Tribolet Award
Professor Sérgio Pequito, a researcher at ISR-Lisboa, has been named the winner of the José Tribolet Prize 2024/25, powered by Deloitte, for developing and deploying an AI-based virtual tutor integrated into a Técnico engineering course, a project that is now shaping how digital tools are adopted across the institution.
New MSCA Doctoral Network with ISR-Lisboa Core
Athanasios Vourvopoulos, Assistant Professor at the Department of Bioengineering of Instituto Superior Técnico and researcher at the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Lisboa), has been awarded funding from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks programme of the European Commission to coordinate an international research and training network in the field of neurotechnology.
We aim to catalyze positive change in human and societal systems, driven by a dual commitment: to advance the frontiers of both fundamental and applied science & technology and to train the next generation of experts.
