Visit from greek Deputy Minister for Development

On February 17th at ISR-Lisboa, we welcomed Zoe Rapti, Greece’s Deputy Minister for Development, alongside Portugal’s Secretary of State in Science, Ana Paiva.

The Greek delegation was received by President Pedro Lima and participated in a brief but insightful tour of the facilities. The visit included stops at VisLab, guided by José Santos-Victor, and DSORg, led by Rita Cunha.

Discussions centred on the practical applications of artificial intelligence, research initiatives in Portugal, and advancements in robotics within the industry. The visit underscored the growing collaboration between Portugal and Greece in science, technology, and innovation.
