The ISR Colaboratorium was inaugurated on July 15th by the occasion of the 2016 Summer Solstice celebrations. Research is a collaborative and creative endeavour. The Colaboratorium was conceived to provide an atmosphere where brainstorming and deep thinking (what else?) can resonate with the characteristics of the surrounding space. As Sir Winston Churchill once said: “Today, we shape our buildings, and afterwards, those buildings will shape us …”
New Project will Advance Brain–Computer Interfaces in Space
The NEURONAUT project, led by researchers at ISR-Lisboa, has been selected as one of the winning proposals of the 2025 edition of PROSSE (PROdex for Science in Space Exploration). The initiative, promoted by the Portuguese Space Agency, supports scientific projects that strengthen Portugal’s role in the field of space exploration. Each selected project will receive €50,000 in funding.
