Final Session of AI in Interaction with the Physical World

The lecture series “Artificial Intelligence in Interaction with the Physical World" closed this February, after being started in June 2025. Hosted at the Técnico Innovation Center, powered by Fidelidade, the series took place alongside the exhibition Art with Science, curated by Leonel Moura, reinforcing the dialogue between scientific research, technology, and society.

The talk series Artificial Intelligence in Interaction with the Physical World, hosted by Instituto Superior Técnico in partnership with ISR-Lisboa, brought together academia, industry, and public stakeholders to debate how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are shaping real-world systems. Running from June 2025 to February 2026 at the Técnico Innovation Centre, powered by Fidelidade, the six-session program highlighted applications in fields as diverse as robotics, energy, cities, and healthcare, reinforcing Técnico’s role as a national hub for interdisciplinary AI dialogue.

Most sessions focused on key application domains and featured Técnico researchers alongside industry and sectoral experts, offering complementary academic and practical perspectives:
