The “Summer School Marine UAS” will take place from 19th to 29th June at IST Congress Centre, aiming to present and discuss theoretical and practical issues with a special focus on the interaction between UAV, ASV and AUV systems and the dual use of space and ocean related technologies.

ISR-Lisboa welcomed two key visits in April: a Champalimaud Foundation team, led by Joe Paton, which showcased Caroline Haimerl’s research on action‑grounded AI; as well as Italy’s Università eCampus presented its labour‑market‑aligned, badge‑certified training model—together highlighting Técnico’s drive for research‑industry synergy.
LARSyS has been awarded an Excellent rating in the latest national research evaluation by FCT, as part of the 2023/2024 Multiannual R&D Funding Programme. The evaluation, which assessed scientific output from 2018 to 2023 and strategic plans through 2029, placed LARSyS among the top-performing research units in the country.
